ARAI CK-6 FIA CMR APPROVED YOUTH HELMET

The Snell-FIA CMR 2016 approval was developed to provide a suitable helmet for children to use in motor sports rather than a helmet designed for the adult head and neck and shrunk down to kid sizes. The geometry of children s heads is different so a simple scaled-down model isn t sufficient. The standard only accepts helmets for head circumferences under 60cm so children with a larger head should still go for the SA and K standards. The CM standard sets different maximum weight limits depending on the helmet size with 1300 grams being the maximum weight for a full-face shielded helmet size 57 to 59 cm and 1100 grams the maximum weight for a full-face shielded helmet size 49 to 49 cm. Of course Arai as the leading premium helmet brand has developed a specific CMR model the completely new CK-6 that has been officially Snell-FIA CMR2016 approved by Snell.

Designed specifically for junior kart racers, with the same ventilation, comfort and feeling of confidence, but smaller and lighter for junior racers too small to fit and or support the weight of an adult model SK-6 karting helmet.
